Chill casting is always first choice for medium-sized to large series and cast parts which have to resist the highest levels of mechanical strain. The benefits of this production method also lie in the high level of stability and density, and low tolerances.

A further plus: Finished single-cast parts, such as threads or bolts, can be cast with at the same time, and bore holes pre-cast. Chill casting is also an economical option. If you fully exploit your options, you save processing time when finishing.
